    • Create your own dosing protocol, so you're not restricted to the three provided with the app.
    • Calculates the starting and adjustment rate of a heparin drip.
    • Can make calculations using lean body weight.
    • Lets you define the starting bolus dose and rate.
    • Lets you set a maximum rate and bolus for the starting dose.
    • Can use SI or British units, and can round the rate to 25, 50 or 100.

    • Shows PubMed/Medline abstracts when they are available.
    • Save a list of references and abstracts for offline viewing.
    • Email a link to the PubMed page for a reference or abstract.

  • Diabetic Ketoacidosis Management

    Recommendations on weight-based insulin dose and rate, potassium repletion, bicarb repletion and intravenous fluids for adults.

    • Can adjust the insulin dose and rate if a patient is already on DKA treatment.
